Advanced surgeon Dr. Alwen came to the San Luis Obispo area with his wife and two boys late in 2002. After falling in love with the area they purchased the Broad Street clinic in January 1, 2003, which later became the Edna Valley Veterinary Clinic. Since then, Dr. Alwen has expanded and enhanced the clinic’s services to include the CVO, the mobile vaccine clinic.

With 22 years experience in advanced surgical care, he offers advanced surgeries that previously had been referred outside the community.
